Abstract:
School anxiety in primary school children is experiencing a very high frequency. School anxiety
represents the manifestation of the child's unfavourable emotional states and has negative impacts
on learning process: slowing learning, emergence of knowledge gaps, avoiding any efforts to fulfil
individual task, lower level of aspiration, school failure followed by poor performance. The listed
changes act inimical effects on children’s affectivity and personality. In this context it is imperative
to diminish school anxiety as soon as possible in order to avoid favouring the emergence of school
and social phobia or to prevent anxiety establishment as a stable personality formation. School
anxiety can be reduced and controlled through the creation and the implementation of the complex
program of psychological intervention. The effectiveness of complex psychological formative
intervention program is illustrated by comparing and highlighting differences between the results
obtained in control group and experimental group. It was signalized that a complex psychological
formative intervention program influenced positively on emotional development and on the
personality diminishing school anxiety.
