Abstract:
The act of speaking to any normal child is a pleasant, spontaneous fact that does not
require any special effort. When, in social environment and especially school relations, the intellectual
burden exceeds the capacity of the child, speech is the first aspect of skils to be blocked.
The inability to communicate through language as well as speech deficiencies cause a stagnation
in the development of the personality of the child, alter its relationship with people, singularize it, and
largely prevent it from participating in the game, the other common activities of the children. Examination must be done at early stages because, from early childhood and school age, language
has important abilities that enable the child to develop complex interpersonal relationships that ensure
social and school adaptation and integration, the organization of psychological life, and the formation and
development of the child's personality.
