dc.description.abstract Hypersensitivity, known as sensory processing sensibility (SPS) (Aron & Aron, 1997) is a innate trait, present in 15-20% of the general population. The hypersensitive persons are described as being more observant to the subtle stimuli in the environment and more easily disturbed by strong stimuli, as powerful sounds or high temperatures (Aron, 2010). Aron et al. (2005) discovered that negative childhood environment was corelated with negative emotionality of people with a high level of sensory processing sensibility, so the environment is an important factor in the development of the children. This data implies a process of cooperation between parents and teachers, so the persons that hypersensitive children interact with could be able to identify them, in order to support them emotionally. en_US
