Abstract:
The article raises the problem of the influence of child-parent relations on a child's
readiness for schooling. It should be noted that the problem of assessing the parents' readiness of
the child to enter school and, in fact, the parent's readiness to change the child's social status has
not been fully investigated. The problem of our research is the existence of a clear contradiction
between the need to form an adequate assessment of the parents 'psychological readiness of their
children for school and the parents' readiness to change the social status of the child.
