Abstract

Assertiveness involves the ability to communicate effectively, in an open and honest way. It plays an important role in school life, being a binder both between teacher and pupils, as well as among pupils, helping them to know each other. Assertive behavior contributes to the development of productive conflict resolution strategies in the school environment.
