Abstract

The article is devoted to the formation of the future teacher's competence in the process of mastering the discipline "History of education and pedagogical thought". It examines the competencies that the discipline forms and the provision of this process in the course of using the educational and methodological manual for the assimilation of the pedagogical heritage based on the historical and personalistic approach.
