Abstract

The article summarizes the directions of women's participation in the social and political processes of the 90s of the twentieth century. The names of remarkable personalities are brought as well as simple women, who fought in politics, manifested themselves in the cultural and economic life. The participation of women in the resistance struggle in Transnistria is analyzed.
