Abstract:
This study aims to: diagnose the psychological security of children depending on the presence of domestic violence. The experiment involved 67 children aged 12-16, from Chisinau, of which 36 children from families where violence is not present and 31 children, who were subjected to domestic violence or witnesses. We found that children subjected to / witnessing domestic violence live more intensely the feeling of psychological insecurity, with all its harmful consequences: they feel less protected, safe, show signs of conflict in interpersonal relationships, mistrust, suspicion, dissatisfaction with life, they have conflicts in relationships with peers, family and school, they are anxious, hostile and pessimistic.
