Abstract:
According to school statistics, there is an increase in the number of students at risk of dropping out of school, the low level of involvement of them and their parents in school life imposing the need to create a bridge between school and future profession as a source of livelihood and development / social integration, thus being created this project; identified target group - students identified at risk of dropping out / failing in the 8th grade.
Aims: Developing students' ability to identify their own skills; Acquisition of information about career planning, occupational fields, professions, labor market in the area; Forming a positive attitude towards school; Involvement of parents in the child's educational path. School and career guidance should be student-centered, supportive and sum up the most diverse life experiences to promote a holistic approach to the problem. Through a career education, students can obtain continuous support from all those involved in their training and development as specialists who know how to act in a general framework of education and career guidance. As proposed activities are the following:1. Who am I? - Self-knowledge 2. Prejudices about the world of professions 3. I respect my parents' work 4. I inform myself, I discover, I decide - career management - information and decision making 5. How to make ?/ Let's cook together! 6. Career plan
This project aims at the following: a more efficient professional orientation of students, increasing the grades in the catalog, decreasing the number of unmotivated absences.
