Abstract:
Article briefly describes the coping in adolescence. In our research were include 103 adolescents (63 boys and 40 girls). In order to study coping in adolescence we applied COPE Questionnaire. As result we established that boys and girls prefer different coping strategies. Boys more often choose positive reinterpretation, denial, seeking of instrumental social support, planning, suppression of competing activities, acceptance, mental disengagement. Girls prefer: positive reinterpretation, mental disengagement seeking of emotional social support, seeking of instrumental social support, acceptance and denial.
