Abstract:
The article presents the research on anxiety, self-esteem and communication styles in preadolescents in a state high school compared to preadolescents in a private high school; The research highlighted significant differences between the two pre-adolescent research groups in terms of anxiety, self-esteem and communication styles. Preteens in state high school show a higher level of school anxiety and a lower level of self-esteem. Preteens in private high school more often adopt the assertive communication style.
