Abstract:
The article addresses the issue of personal development, presenting the valuable ideas of reputable scientists in the field of education, which appeared on this topic throughout the history of human civilization. We argue that the process of personal development is influenced by all human, educational and cultural values, and young people, in the stage of identity formation, need models of life, norms of conduct, stable attitudes, psychosocial landmarks, their own constructive experiences that will allow them to strengthen their feelings of trust, respect and self-esteem.
