dc.description.abstract The subject of the article is focused on assessment, a concept analyzed from several perspectives, necessary in the process of active learning in geography classes and in the training of specific skills in students. The importance of assessment in the learning activity is highlighted, especially through different types of tests that require the accumulated knowledge or geographical skills of the student over a period of time, increasingly important in shaping and developing the personality of the high school student, but also in pursuing future development. en_US
