Abstract:
Teachers are the foundation of the educational system. A quality education can be offered only through well-trained teachers, with an unbridled desire to adapt to the continuous change that characterizes today's society. The initial training is no longer enough to complete the professionalization of their activity, continuous training programs are indispensable to meet the current requirements. The introduction of the requirement addressed to teachers to collect a minimum of 90 transferable credits by completing various training courses led to a rich offer of teacher training programs. However, there are only a few programs who target the enrichment of the Science in primary education. This deficiency in the training of primary school teachers is reflected in the learning ability of students, as illustrated by the PISA tests.
