dc.description.abstract Internet addiction negatively affects all areas of adolescent development: physical, psychological, social, emotional-volitional, spiritual and moral, etc. The factors contributing to the development of a child's addiction tocomputer games can be distinguished: thepresenceof his own world, into which noone but himself has access; lack of responsibility; realisticprocesses and thepossibilityof complete abstraction from the surrounding world; the ability tocorrect anyerror through multiple attempts; the ability to independently make any (within the game) decisions, regardless of what they may lead to. The morepsychological barriers a child has in everyday real life, the faster and deeper he will plunge into virtual reality. Internet addiction forms a number of problems: conflict behavior, chronic depression, withdrawal from real life into the virtual world, difficulties in adapting in society, loss of the ability tocontrol the time spent at thecomputer, theemergenceof a feeling of discomfort in the absenceof thepossibilityof using the Internet. en_US
