Abstract:
The article reflects a research sequence on the level of emotional intelligence and the level of motivation for learning in adolescents, demonstrating the relationship between emotional intelligence and motivation to learn. It is revealed that specific to the adolescent stage is a low index of emotional intelligence, which can compromise the normal functioning of the adolescent in school, family, and social media. Emotional intelligence fluctuates depending on age, at the beginning of adolescence being visible the characteristics of a low level of emotional intelligence, at the end of the stage there is an increase in the index of emotional intelligence. Finally, it is concluded that most adolescents with a low level of emotional intelligence show an above-average level of learning motivation. Most adolescents with a medium or high level of emotional intelligence show a medium level of learning motivation.
