Abstract

The article focuses on the presentation of Jim Crace's book of stories and sketches "Devil's Chamber". The digestive dominance runs like a thread of Ariadne Crace's work, and the polarity of the gastronomic approaches allows the categorization of the sixty-four constituent elements of the book in pleasures and displeasures of taste.
