Abstract:
Mythical motivs have a polysemantic structure, so they are a source of inspiration for philosophy, history, art, literature, psychology. In this article we set out to elucidate the landmarks of mythical cosmography. Mythical language operates with archetypes, which resonate in the collective subconscious and which generate new meanings. For example, the archaic conception of the center of the world is expressed by several myths: the top of the world, the earth's axis, the cosmic tree, the sacred mountain, the ladder of heaven. In turn, myths access several levels of conscience, of spiritual ethics, of the aspiration of the soul. Myth proposes the key to deciphering the mysteries of the world, to understanding the meanings of life, to rediscovering one's own being.
