dc.description.abstract This article talks about the reception of Ion Creanga's work in universal culture. Thanks to its artistic charm and ideational richness, stylistic uniqueness and other valuable features, Creanga's work has been placed on a well-defined place in literary universality. The main components, which have ensured this honorable prestige, are artistic translation, critical interpretation, essay. There are other ways to promote literary values in allogeneic spaces: theatrical staging, memoir, film, music composition, photo album, philately, etc., but we talk, in the following lines, about the main nominated components. It is the presence of Creanga's work in such widely circulated languages, such as English, Spanish, German, Italian, Russian, that has ensured our great prose writer an honorable place on the meridians of the world. en_US
