Abstract:
This study investigates the theoretical aspects of the notions of identity and interculturality. The timeliness of the analysis of these notions is determined by the field of their use. In the study these notions are examined both in the academic field and in the educational field. One of the objectives of the research is to identify the definitions, functions, and criteria for analyzing these notions. As a result of the examination of the specialized literature and of the normative acts from the educational system, the necessity of knowing these notions at theoretical level is demonstrated at the same time.
