Abstract

Through an active and innovative museum management, the museum has become a significant player on the contemporary cultural scene and an important factor of information and education, in a relationship of complementarity with the formal education system. The identification of coherent strategic directions and the establishment of an operational framework in accordance with financial and human resources make possible the efficient operation of the museum, having as basic pillars the conservation, research, development, capitalization, promotion of its heritage, with emphasis on intensifying museum education activities.
