dc.description.abstract Lazar Dubinovsky, who will be 110 this year, was not only a sculptor with deep knowledge, but also a good conductor in the art world for the young generation. Talented young sculptors, including Grigory Sultan and Valentin Vyrtosu, made their first confident steps in the field of sculptural portraiture in the workshop of Lazar Dubinovsky. Both sculptors took over some secrets of craftsmanship from the maestro Lazar Dubinovsky in a realistic approach to the portrait. They got a solid theoretical and practical foundation, on the base of which, they began to work in a variety of ways, realizing their artistic aspirations. en_US
