Abstract:
Vernacular architecture from Republic of Moldova constitutes an exceptional artistic value of popular creation. Standing in a central place among national cultural values, it develops wider and manifests itself through new forms of realizations and organization of the peasant household ensemble.
They contribute to the determination of the structural-morphological arrangement of the compositional elements of a traditional house and dividing them into typologies based on certain established criteria. The rural architectonic ensemble, together with its annexes and architectural decoration, form one of the most expressive and significant phenomena of local folk art.
