Abstract

The study of ceramics involves not only understanding an artistic process, but also a way of life, a certain way of thinking. It therefore represents an additional link in the reconstruction of the history of our civilization and culture. The study of artistic ceramics becomes a guide that includes multiple knowledge in the field of visual arts, of contemporary artistic experiences and the symbolism of shapes, as well as of natural and socio-human sciences altogether. The study aims preliminary conditions through information and progressive exploration of laws, methods, creative procedures, mastering the grammar of shapes and visual vocabulary, being a branch of decorative arts as a specific field.
