Abstract:
This article presents the role that the therapeutic fairytales play in the cognitive and emotional development of a child. The authors speak of the importance of therapeutic fairytales in the development and maintaining of the values system – foundation for the child’s moral immunity. The authors consider that, nowadays, when there are more and more cases of pre-school age children suffering from panic attacks, who, from a tender age to adolescence find solace in computers or smartphones or who find false consolation in alcohol and drugs, or in using violence as a means for leasing their inner tension, the therapeutic fairytales may prove wholly useful in dealing with these issues.
