Abstract:
In this study we would like to emphasize the importance of the activities of preschool institutions/kindergartens in the emotional and social development of preschoolers, the abilities which determine a child to be able to live in a permanent association with the others, to be capable of friendly relations and, particularly, to wish to maintain relations with his/her coevals.
The study also goes deeply into the problematics of the risk factors in social and emotional development of children, described by different researches, which have emphasized the importance of parents’ behaviour in social and emotional formation and development of the children of early childhood.
