Abstract:
The need for psychotherapeutic intervention for adolescents who have developed addiction to smart devices is increasingly evident today, as specialized studies clearly indicate that overuse of these devices leads to anxiety, lack of self-esteem and lack of social skills, which affects the long-term quality of life of the individual and those around him. The phenomenon is extremely complex, involving the individual and the social microgroup to which he/she belongs, the family, the group of friends or the school group.
For this reason, the psychotherapist must devise a true strategic plan, in which to ascertain the initial state, to set objectives, to identify the appropriate instruments and to combine them toward the expected effect.
