Abstract:
The establishment and development of integrated / inclusive education requires substantial efforts of information, design-planning, training and improvement at the level of teaching staff in education, educational managers, community factors involved in this process. Practical, organizational efforts are needed, for curricular and methodological intervention, for the training and improvement of teachers, for the evaluation of their activity and from the perspective of supporting the school progress of children with special educational needs; establishing and developing cooperation between educational institutions, family and community.
This paper reflects aspects of recent developments in the field of disability and inclusion, based on international and national studies and experiences on the development of integrated education.
