Abstract:
In this article I tried to draw attention to the concept of family in the value system of young people. Changes in economic and political levels in recent years, but also mass emigration have led to changes in perceptions of cultural and personal values. Statistics from recent decades show an increased divorce rate, which is questionable, especially for our society where the family and family relationships have the most important cultural and personal values. In the study below, I will present the extent to which, according to
Schwartz's inventory of personal values, the following values are reflected in practice: Family safety, true friendship, mature love, a sense of belonging, but also independence and freedom.
