Abstract:
The article addresses a significant issue of psychology, namely empathy in preadolescents. The article includes the study of empathy in preadolescents depending on gender, age. As a result, we established that a small number of preadolescents (15%) have a high level of empathic tendencies. In terms of gender, a high level of empathic tendencies is characteristic of girls compared to boys. Empathic tendencies are characteristic of 7th grade preadolescents. The most developed components of empathy are: empathic communication, emotional channel.
