Victor Ţvircun – pedagog, cercetător şi om de stat

Abstract

This article is dedicated to a prominent person from the teaching staff of the State Pedagogical University "Ion Creangă" from Chisinau - doctor habilitat in pedagogy, doctor habilitat in history, university professor, ambassador Victor Tsvircun. The material given is a brief biographical sketch of his reign, which ac-tivated throughout this institution of higher education all steps from the laborato-ry of the history department to the university professor. Regardless of what state functions he did not fulfill, be in the position of plenipotentiary ambassador of the Republic of Moldova in Turkey and in the countries of the Near East, be in the po-sition of minister of education, he permanently maintained and maintained the connection with the university. At present, working within the Ministry of For-eign Affairs and European Integration, the man continues his collaboration, being scientific leader in three doctoral theses.
