Sergiu Roşca – pedagog, savant şi personalitate publică

Abstract

The pedagogue and the university professor Sergiu Roşca, for several years was the head of the Department of Philosophical and Economic Sciences of the State Pedagogical University „Ion Creangă”. His entire pedagogical and scientific activity was directed to the prob-lems of research and promotion of philosophy and philosophical disciplines in the upper school. He has contributed to shaping consciousness and developing critical thinking, to the ethnical-moral, social-political and intellectual train-ing of young specialists in future pedagogues, emphasizing the education and formation of national values, such as: identity, history, language, and nation. S. Roşca knew how to harmoniously combine the scientific research activity with the pedagogical one.
