Abstract

Mrs. Elena Ploşniţa occupies a distinct place in the scientific and educational environment of the Republic of Moldova. An accomplished teacher, a true researcher, a doctor in historical sciences, a true cultural personality, she has been working since 1977. She is not the person of a single field: she has approached with the same erudition the history, the anthropology, the museology, the arts. As an erudite person, she, a passionate researcher, carries out a rich cultural, scientific and pedagogical activity. Highly rigorous researcher, with a solid intellectual background, informed in detail about the areas covered, E. Ploşniţa has defined herself over the years as an outstanding representative of the National School of Museology. She is the unanimously internationally recognized museologist, member of dozens of national and international associations, societies and committees.
