Abstract:
University professor, doctor habilitat in pedagogy, Virgil Mândâcanu, dedicated his life to the world of knowledge, thereby, from 1956 he started his activity as a history teacher in the school of Cigârleni village, city. Balti, that later in 1979 his activity will continue in the State Pedagogical Institute "Ion Creangă" according to the lecturer-Methodist at the Faculty of History and Pedagogy and from 1993 he obtained the title of doctor habilitat and university professor of the State Pedagogical University "Ion Creangă". All these years have been crowned by research and publications on the methodology of teaching history in school, pedagogical mastery, the art of pedagogical communication, pedagogical ethics, the history of pedagogy and more. He was involved in many public activities - the head of the Laboratory "The bases of technology and pedagogical mastery", expert at the Higher Certification Commission, member of the Council of Education Sciences, director of the "Ion Creangă" museum.
