Abstract:
This article is a suggestion to sift an academic career, wich is connected to
both - development of higher education and the role and composition of the academic
elite of the Republic of Moldova. In this article we will try to present not
only the scientific-teaching activity, but also the other aspect of the life and activity
of a representative member of the academic elite - Nicolae Cernomaz, doctor in
historical sciences, university lecturer, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs,
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary - a well-known name in the
system of the higher education in the Republic of Moldova, diplomat by trade and
true vocation, our contemporary, dedicated to serving his country.
