Sergiu Cataraga –un pedagog realizat şi recunoscut

Abstract

Sergiu Cataraga is a historian from the Republic of Moldova, Professor and researcher of the History and Geography Faculty, of the „Ion Creanga” State Ped-agogical University of Moldova. He holds his Ph.D. at the „Ion Creanga” State Pedagogical University. He is the author of dozens of scientific publications, edi-tor of books. His major academic interests are Modern and contemporary history. He is a constructivist teacher and involves in-depth understanding of historical processes, creative thinking, communication skills, patience and a sense of humor. Equally important is the fact that Mr. Sergiu Cataraga discovers the personality and interests of each student. He manages to look at things from the perspective of his students and truly becomes a mentor / friend to them on their way to success. He analyzes things well and tries to find the cause-and-effect link between events, facts and other things.
