Varvara Buzilă – personalitate de prim rang în evoluţia etnologiei din Republica Moldova

Abstract

Mrs. Varvara Buzila, PhD, associate professor, is one of the researchers who greatly influenced upon development of the society, science and Romanian culture in the Republic of Moldova. Being a strong intelligent personality with an enhanced power of observation, objectiveness, perspective vision, she realized a coherent strategy for ethnological research development, research and promotion of national cultural heritage, development of muzeology in the Republic of Moldova and formation of a young generation. She held courses in the fields of ethnology, anthropology and cultural heritage in many universities of Chisinau. Her didactic activity included not only knowledge transmission, but also students’ education in a spirit of scientific and didactic competition, individual and social responsibility, development of moral philosophy, shared by the mentors.
