Abstract

The university lecturer, the doctor in history, Valentin Burlacu is a notori-ous personality in the university and scientific community of the Republic of Mol-dova, Romania and other states. He promotes education, science and culture with probity and professional competence. he is recognized and valued in the professional environment. His authority was built on assiduous work, but also on native talent. The culture of Romanians from Bessarabia, Soviet Moldova, the correlation between propaganda, ideology and history, the political interference in the spiritual life con-sists innovative elements of the research carried out in the studies signed by V. Burlacu. Numerous generations of pupils and students have stepped into the con-temporary world, developing their skills for critical thinking thanks to the effort and selflessness of Professor V. Burlacu.
