Nudul în creaţia sculptorului Ion Bolocan, absolvent al facultăţii de arte plastice şi design a UPS „Ion Creangă” din Chişinău

Abstract

The sculptor Ion Bolokan (born in 1961, in the municipality of Mesheni, region of Orhei) studied at a faculty of Fine Arts of the State Pedagogical University "Ion Creanga" in Chisinau, completing his education in 2005 by a the thesis in a genre of sculpture. It was a nude nature, created in the workshop of the teacher and sculptor Ion Zderchuk. His first works, when Ion Bolocan learns the essence of academic modeling can tell about his thorough knowledge in the nudity genre. All the same, for the sculptor, the 90s years became a period of generalizations of form and stylistic searches in the spirit of those times. Thus, his work, "Prayer" (1990, bronze, granite) was purchased for the collection of the National Museum of the Arts of Moldova. And the naked nature becomes for this sculptor an unchanging essence, transferred from one work to another.
