Abstract:
Starting with 1850s, the cultural Romanian language changes the direction of de velopment and that is due to historical-cultural movement in linguistics. Alecu Russo advocated fiercely his ideas for this tendency, so that they became extremely important and decisive because any other comments or rumours over the issue fled completely. Therefore he became one of the founders of the historical-cultural movement. Subsequently, the cultural Romanian attains its Latin alphabet in 1860, by unanimous voted law, so this was the beginning of unification and grammaticalization of cultural Romanian language. On behalf of this, cultural Romanian language reaches its highest level of modernization by 1881.
