In this article we talk about Bildungsroman elements in short prose. They mainly refer to the age of childhood, the first stage in the structure of this type of writing. We analyze them in the work of Ionel Teodoreanu in his memorialist cycles in the Grandparents' House, Grass, The Return in Time and Mass of Shadows. We will still refer to the grandparents' cycle, which shows in concrete terms an episode of a child. Grandmothers mean the experience of life, the education stories that grandchildren must strictly take into account, and their home is the alternative place of the parental home. |
