Abstract

The article deals with the specifics of satire as a phenomenon of art, its originality, analyzes the satirical tradition of N. Gogol, perceived and creatively reinterpreted by outstanding Russian writers M. Bulgakov and M. Zoshchenko. The role of satire and satirist in the statement of the positive ideal by the reception "from the opposite "is revealed.
