Abstract:
The article elucidates a segment of the secular evolution of the rationalism-empiricism dilemma. The segment is related to J. Locke's empirical conception of knowledge with its mechanistic borders and I. Kant's dialectical way of overcoming the contradictions between these two styles of logics by elaborating transcendental logic and the concept of synthetic judgement.
