Abstract:
This theoretical study elucidates the impact of psychosocial factors: self-esteem, gratitude, forgiveness, optimism, moral good on strengthening cohesion and intergenerational relations. Each factor has been analyzed from the perspective of moral psychology and positive psychology. Finally, the authors have proposed several strategies to make family welfare more effective by capitalizing on self-esteem, gratitude, forgiveness, optimism and moral well-being.
