Abstract:
This article describes the evolution of the Environment as a concept and emphasizes the corelation between it and the concept of Studying Environment. It presents the definition of the enviroment from several points of view: philosophical, sociological, ecological,
psychological and pedagogical. The author lists the characteristics of a studying enviroment, such as they were defined by proeminent scientists and also proposes new ones such as a „safe and educative enviroment”. Based on an empiric study, there are presented the results of a questionaire undergone by teachers and the results of the
observation of the studying environment in preschool institutions.
The author suggests support practices that would create a more
efficient studying environment.
