Abstract:
This article presents various measures to protect children in risky situations. Once the family is unable, even with proper support, to provide a quality childcare, or give up or abandon the child, the state is responsible for protecting the child's rights and providing
adequate alternative care. Respectively, through the competent guardianship authorities, these children are given an appropriate form of protection.
