Abstract:
The article represents a correlational study, which has the aim to find the relationship between emotions and job performance. Evaluation of emotions and highlighting their influence on professional performance, the degree to which the emotions can be considered an effective predictor of job performance. The positive emotions influence the performance level by growing it and is an effective predictor of job performance. Negative emotions affect the performance level downwards (predicting low levels of professional performance). Negative emotions at work do not predict low job performance. Emotions in work and professional performance have self serve, adaptive role, supporting role of energy on other mental processes, communication, social and catharsis role.
