Sistemul denominativ al limbii versus sistemul ei lexical

Abstract

The denomination phenomenon correlates with the necessity of naming the referees, recently appeared in language. So, for give a name to the new denotes, recently appeared or unfamiliar for the speakers before, they recourse to various methods of denomination. By the process of denomination they understand the method of creating different names – semantic and affixed derivatives, periphrastic composite names, lingual calculations etc. Most times, to form a new reality in language, they recourse to affix derivation, conversion, composition etc. A less known denomination process is semantic deriving, which is an interesting language phenomenon, very important for the proper functioning of the language. As a result of this process a new word is not formed, but a new nomem appears. Frequently, students and other speakers of the Romanian language know what affixed derivation is, but they know less about the reversed derivation and semantic derivation. The last one has a particularly high importance for language enrichment of the denominative system. In this context, it is important not to confuse the lexical system of language with its denomination system. This problem is studied in this article.
