Abstract:
In the article, one of the key problems concerning the villages’ history, the population dynamics evolution of Slobozia Bolohanului is examined. The article is based on rich factual material, that is kept in the National Archive of the Republic of Moldova, in the funds - 134, where the censuses materials are concentrated and 211 - church records for evidence of marriages, births and deaths. The chronological limit includes the period since 1835 till 1850, years when the censuses were held.
