Abstract:
The article is devoted to one of the most difficult problems within Soviet (Russian)-Japanese relationships, the existence of Japanese military prisoners in the Soviet Union after the 2nd World War. There are analized such aspects as: the number of prisoners, the number of deaths, their repatriation and the current state of Russian-Japanese relationships with reference to former prisoners.
